I’m going away to where the grass is greener…

So I bet, you’re singing now? :) I got my title from the lyrics of Green Green grass of home.
In my own personal view, I figured, Green is always associated with something or a place that is more peaceful or calming. Right? Well I guess, I feel more relaxed when I see a green place.
Without further ado, here’s the last Acacia-related entry I’ll be posting for now. We took advantage of the place so why not share here? ♥

Photo above was my most favorite among all the photos I have gathered during our stay there. Cutiepatootie shot! Thanks, Karla!

What I wore: White dress, Animal print sunnies, H&M neon shoes, SM Department store polka dot pouch.

Fact about me: I love anything and everything with a bow or ribbon accent.

Brace yourselves as you scroll down and see my pacute photos. ♥

Thanks, April ♥

So here’s my “YEAR END SUMMARY for 2012”
So how did you spend the most awaited season of the year?
I hope you all had a blast!!!
This post might be a little too late, I know. I enjoyed so much of my vacation that I stayed away from the computer for the entire weeks. I had so much fun attending so many year-ender parties and get-togethers with my family and friends. How about you?
Anyway, let me share with you some of the 2012 photos I collated in one photo that can define my “last year”.
Some of the look photos I collected last 2012 from January to December. I hope you can still recall the stories behind these photos!☺
Again, HAPPY NEW YEAR and may you all have a great year ahead, lovies! :D
Bright and Distinct

I’m that type of person who always plan for what will I wear on a certain day or occasion regardless of time. I mean, even the event is short notice, I always take time to think or daydream my ensemble. I’ll sit and plan even for just a minute.
Last, Aug 27 - the day after my birthday I had a date with my chubbychubs. Also, that was the day after I came back from a tedious yet fun company outing. Imagine how tired I was, so to change my mood I opted to wear something vivid to hype my tired self. I wore a very colorful ensemble. It was a success!

I don’t know, but I have this fetish for unique button-down shirts with cute and interesting prints that I prefer wearing as a blazer, a cover up or whatever. So if you know any stores selling this kind, please please let me know? YES!

Bright and distinct colors also reflect my personality. Those who know me personally can attest to that. ☺ I’m a very happy person! I’ll buy the corniest joke you could throw to me. hihi :)

On to my outfit, I removed my “aka” blazer when Mr Sun showed up. Bipolar weather it is!
Here are photos without my “aka” blazer…

I love the uneven cut of this dress. ♥

What I wore: Zara blue uneven cut dress, thrifted button-down shirt worn as blazer, H&M neon slip-ons.

Think and Act GREEN!

Hi friends and folks! ☺
It’s been a long time since my last decent blog-post. I have neglected Self-Portrayal for weeks, I know. I paused for a while to reflect on some personal realizations.

On to my post, I love that GREEN is everywhere, from my background to my outfit.

I have these photos days after Habagat, all were taken by Rannice. I’m so proud of his improvement. Hahaha! ☺
Anyhow, thank goodness that Mr Sun finally came out after days of calamity in Metro Manila. I hope that you are all okay. ☺

Yesterday, I stumbled upon a Facebook page that has Metro Manila in 1970 pictures. See here. I was surprised when I saw how Metro Manila seems to be unpolluted before. Beautiful. Less traffic, less buildings, spacious places and greener environment. Well, I just wish that in the Metro in spite of the advancements / developments we have now.
So, what are your thoughts? Did you see the photos?

Moreover, did you know that Muntinlupa city has this green campaign, BYOB? The NO TO PLASTICS: Bring Your Own Bag brilliant program. I totally support this campaign and I hope more cities will follow. I know we are all aware that plastic is one of the causes of flooding here and there, kaya let’s all do our share. THINK and ACT GREEN! ☺

What I wore: Thrifted polka top, Detteskee’s Online shop statement necklace, H&M neon shoes, Longchamp Patch Poney bag, NAVA baroque-ish sunnies, blue jeggings from Landmark

My confused face. BOW. :P

Here’s an article I have found in Treehugger’s website, How to Go Green: Why to Go Green, just sharing!
Have a happy long weekend to all! ☺

Quick Sizzle

I’ve been lusting for new tubes of lipsticks and Shop MAC Cook MAC collection’s Quick Sizzle is one on my wishlist - “It is a bright blue-based fuchsia pink with opaque color coverage. It has a matte finish. It’s not one of the dry-type of mattes” - Temptalia. You know how I love MACs & lippies especially if in matte finish.

photos from: http://www.beautezine.com
I’m not sure if it’s already available here, it is a limited edition shade so my frustration in owning this made me chose this Quick Sizzle-ish dress when I went to Bloggers United 3. ☺

Here’s what I wore: fuschia dress, Frollic zebra shoes, animal print clutch, Accessorize earrings

some decolor photos. ☺
