Chinese Secret Formula
Phew! I can’t remember when was the last time I posted a beauty related post here :)
On to my post, I’ve been a loyal Mary Kay user when I was in college but when I started working I found Palladio and instantly became my permanent or let me say, HG face powder? YES!
So just last week, I bought my 3rd Palladio Rice Powder. ☺

Yes, Palladio is only available in Beauty Bar.
I know! “rice powder” sounds weird! haha!
“Rice Powder is the refined starch from rice, known as Oryza Sativa. The powder of rice has been used for centuries in the ancient art of Ayurveda, a holistic healing practice. It is used as a poultice that soothes inflamed acne and skin ulcerations. It has been used by Asian women in their facial makeup and to wash their skin since the 16th century. It is considered an emollient rich skin treatment.” - source

I’m using Palladio Rice Powder for a year now and I must say, I couldn’t see myself without it. I kid!

It costs Php 325 in Beauty Bar.
There’s a free powder puff but I use powder brush for easy application.
Basically, I use it everyday. When I go to work, hang with my friends, when I attend events. I love its absorbing power plus it looks natural on my face.
Always remember that what works for me may not work for you. We have different skin types.
If you are looking for a good face powder, try this rice powder :)

Have you tried this product before?
Let me know your thoughts. ☺

Moyen to Neutral Warm
In my world where enough sleep is very important and most wanted, concealer plays a very important part. I can’t imagine my life leaving the house without this. There are a lot of concealers available in the market today and can be very confusing what brand to get and which one works better.
I’ve tried so many brands of concealers just to find the best match for my under-eye circles wishing that someday I would find my perfect match.
Just last year I found a good concealer, The Balm - Time Balm. I was impressed,(available in all Beauty Bar stores) and still using it. Photo below is “almost finished plastic” pot. This concealer is better than those that I’ve tried before. BUTTTTTTT, as I have promised to my eyes that once I finished a pot, I will try MAC to compare and if I will repurchase or not.

So last Monday, I had a chance to visit MAC in Makati while waiting for my friends. I had a little question and answer portion with their SA regarding with my skin tone and what’s the perfect shade for my skin.

Tenenenenennnn…

I bought MAC Prep+Prime Vibrancy Eye Primer and MAC Moisture Cover concealer. I actually want to try their Studio Finish and Studio Sculp because I’ve read so many good reviews but the SA recommended Moisture Cover. Why not try?

MAC Prep+Prime Vibrancy Eye Primer
Instant eye prep! This quick fix reduces the look of puffy eyes and under-eye shadows while imparting a bright natural radiance to the entire eye area. Perfectly primes the eye for makeup. Use regularly and see those instant benefits become` more permanent! - MAC Cosmetics

It comes with a doe foot applicator that reminds me of my lip-gloss. :)
I’m not sure if this creamy concealer will have a good relationship with my eyes, give me more months and will say my final verdict.. hahaha!
I will probably go back to Time Balm if I will get disappointed with this..

My shade for The Balm is Medium Moyen while for MAC is Neutral Warm 25, now that explains my title. :P

What are your thoughts?
Welcome to the family HONEY LOVE!
I’m not talking about boyfriend whatsoever here. hahaha! :D
I just want to welcome my new MAC pop in my growing collection ♥ The newest tube in the family, MAC Honeylove! I have a thing for lippies. The only makeup I use to brighten up my face (well plus my trusty concealer & my eyebrow kit) haha! I’m not the “eyeshadow + blush-on” type of girl that’s why I invest on lipsticks.☺

As of now, I already have 3 tubes! Weeeeeeee!

Pink Nouveau, Ruby Woo & Honeylove

I love MAC, the vanilla scent & the way it stays on my lips. I love matte finish to be specific. Out of the 3, if you’ll ask me, my favorite is Ruby Woo. It’s probably the most raved red lipstick and my most used lippy. hehehe! :P

So hello Honeylove! WELCOME!!!
If you want to see how the shades looks like, Here’s when I wore the Ruby Woo. Here’s when I wore Pink Nouveau & when I wore Honeylove. ♥♥♥
- How about you? What’s your favorite lipstick?
- Do you have any suggestions of a good MAC shade?

Let’s be honest..
Beauty is not all that interesting (and certainly not more interesting than the dessert menu). But when a confident woman walks into a room, it is entrancing.
She is not usually the one in the plain black dress.
She is the one in the interesting shirt and the vintage skirt, and I immediately want to know where she got them. And she may not be the most stunningly gorgeous woman I’ve never seen, but she has a way about her that can make her one of the most intriguing.
Confidence is captivating, it is powerful, and it does not fade - and that is endlessly more interesting than beauty.
