MEG Magazine & Marithé François Girbaud had an event together to the “Meg Up & Coming“ last November 18, 2011.

It started at around 10pm -KYSS Bar Makati.

Pretty & Hadsome models had a fashion show featuring FW 2011 Collection of Marithé François Girbaud.

I wasn’t able to capture great photos of the collection during the event so here are FW 2011 Collection of Marithé François Girbaud.

The season’s theme is given distinction by having linear and folded designs that symbolizes the bar code on each Marithé + François Girbaud products. The jeans are designed with red bars on the inside of the bottom hem to add a different style. Other apparels are created with lines and creases that is akin to a barcode.

The women’s collection sustains the representations with its variation of jeans, tops, jackets and accessories that are defines the collection’s theme. Using different colors such as red, blue, olive and khaki, and garments such as thick cotton and denims that are perfect for the season.

The menswear features three representations for this season: The Urban Preppy Cool gives off a cool and edgy look for the urban men with jeans such as Pedal Gear and Wraptrack. The military-inspired Scoutdetto expresses a strong and powerful vibe with its Snaker and Clean Patrol jeans. The Rugged Tweed Boys makes you look laid-back yet still feeling edgy with Loopdileg and Wrapmaster jeans.

Part of the Barcode collection is Marithé + François Girbaud’s patented invention of WATTWASH jeans that uses laser technology and saves 97.5% of water than the regular stone washing process and has no chemicals – Girbaud’s support to save the environment.
