Emergency Shoes

Girls love SHOES!!! That’s a fact. Who doesn’t?
I’m guilty and won’t argue with that. I love shoes with high heels esp wedges with 4” and above. The higher the better. My shoe collection consists of mostly wedges that I bought online.
Boys don’t understand why we can’t get enough of shoes. Right?
When I was in college I love wearing high heels, It gives me self confidence that whenever I walk inside the classroom I feel beautiful. Hahaha! There are those times my feet will scream TIRED so I always bring slippers with me as my first aid. Even during our Feasibility brainstorming session, I proposed a shoe project. I will not elaborate what shoe project was that. Secret.
Here comes the emergence of EMERGENCY SHOES, rollable, foldable, etc.
The answer to those “on the go” shoe lover women like me.

Meet my Frollic growing collection :)
I started collecting Frollic last 2011. I find these shoes very helpful, these are all rollable so talk about convenience in carrying them unlike the usual slippers I always have in my bag, these are lightweight and space-saver. A quick relief from the discomfort of wearing high heels for a long period of time.

(L-R) Silver Sensation, Purple Crush, Basic Black & my old Frollic Zebra
The overused Zebra is my favorite and the oldest. :))

I still want more! :P
Frollic take-away shoes are the perfect treat for your weary feet!

MyStyle: Resourceful Recessionista

Why my title’s like that? Simple. I’m on a budget. hahaha! I kid. Remember this post - Send Off Party? That was a last minute date with my friends and plus no time to buy a new dress or whatever because I was busy the whole first week of January.
The resourceful me had an idea of recycling my maxi skirt I wore once last Meg’s Up & Coming party.

What I did: I wore a gold belt to accessorize the skirt / tube, a gold cute necklace I bought from Detteskee’s Online Shop and gold cuff from Pepz Online Shop + a Tommy Hilfiger checkered bag.

I love the effect of the belt. Flowy. It didn’t look like it’s a skirt.

Did you notice how my necklace can be worn in different ways? It can be adjusted from short to a longer necklace. Simple and unique. Only from Detteskee’s Online Shop ♥

In additional, I am now sporting a new hairdo. short and pacute cut. hahaha! :P
What do you think?

Blue Sky

Last last last week, I can’t even recall the exact date, I fell in love with the sky. Why? Because of the calming color. Took advantage. Grabbed my tripod, set the timer and voila!
“If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if the simplest things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive.”
This is the last set of photos with my long wavy hair. I just had a haircut! Weee!
What I wore: PepzOnline Shop dress, AsianVogue wedges, red jelly watch

Clashing and Combining Designers, Inspirations and Colors
Manila, Philippines – January 2011 – Visions of varying hues will inspire viewers as a wonderful presentation of colors and designs will emanate from each designer’s creation.
For the fourth challenge, the remaining MEGA Young Designers must come up with pieces inspired by the colors of 2012. To test their ability to work with each other, all ten designers will be grouped to form a color inspired collection. Each group must stick to one primary color for the entire collection.
The upcoming “Color Challenge” will bring out the uniqueness in the design of each designer as they work with the same primary color inspiration of their team.
Can the designers work it out harmoniously? Or will it be a disaster of shades?
A special color will be chosen to be the only accent, adding style to the pieces they will create. To gather their much needed inspiration for the collection, the designers will be sent to one of the busiest spots of Quezon City.
Still, another challenge awaits these designers. For this challenge, presentation will be an utmost and crucial requirement.

Which designer will show the pieces to appease the tone of judgment of the fashion council?
Keep watching the MEGA Young Designers Competition 2012 every Saturday, 7 pm on ETC, with replays every Sunday at 10 am.
Generation MEGA Season 3: The MEGA Young Designers Competition 2012 was created for TV by the MEGA Publishing Group.
